Position Description

One of our clients, is looking for an Nurse Informatics.

Location: New York (Onsite)

Position Type: Full-Time/Perm

Schedule: On-site 5x Days Per Week

Job Description

  • Work with clinicians to optimize the usage of clinical systems through education, workflow enhancements, and implementation of systems upgrades.
  • Deliver provider education, application support, user assistance with quality documentation, and workflows in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide secondary support for building and managing assigned applications to meet the needs of end users.
  • Reviewing change request, recommending appropriate system changes, and implementing those changes into the system; providing training to end users and maintaining documentation in accordance with the overall system upgrades.
  • Develop systems testing plans and conversion strategies and participate in evaluation of results.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the system is built to work safely, efficiently, and effectively for the end user.
  • Act as Project Manager or Team Leader in managing tasks and plans of all phases of projects of considerable complexity, size, and/or scope.

Qualifications Needed (Licenses, Certifications, And Language Requirements)

  • NY State RN License Required
  • BSN/Bachelor's degree required
  • Exp managing software systems
  • 5 years clinical exp requires
  • Exp with Cerner highly preferred.
